You believe in Jesus...now what?

Hey everyone,

What an amazing celebration we had last week—sharing the Passover meal, reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice, and rejoicing in His resurrection!

But now what?

Well, it depends on you. Have you made Christ your Lord? Have you been obedient to the first step of faith in baptism? If so, now it’s time to begin sharing his love.

The question isn’t new—Zacchaeus, Peter, the rich young ruler, and others all asked, “What do I do now?”

Jesus’ answer was simple and powerful: Love your neighbor.

Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers…leaving him half dead. Now, by chance, a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite…but a Samaritan…came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds…Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him…Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man…?” He said, ”The one who showed him mercy”. And Jesus said to him, You go, and do likewise.”
Luke 10:30-37

We don’t stop at belief; we put our belief into action.

Faith is belief that produces action.

We have a great opportunity to serve the community God has called us to this week, and love our neighbors.  We follow Jesus by loving others with our faith.

Let’s do that this week. Let’s love like Jesus.

Walk It Out

This Sunday, April 27th, we’re not just talking about faith — we’re walking it out.

Join us after service for a Prayer Walk from Engage Church to Sycamore View Church of Christ. As we walk, we’ll pray for our community, our city, and our church’s mission.

When we arrive, we’ll partner with Sycamore View’s Compassion in Action event, serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

This is more than a walk — it’s a step of faith.

Be there. Be moved. Be part of what God is doing.

Walk out your faith - literally - with us this Sunday.
